We've had an increase in the number of people requesting help with their resume so we will be offering a series of "resume workshops" in the month of November. If they are successful, we will continue this into the new year! The two hour session will be a drop-in for those who would like help. Many library patrons have jobs where they sit at their desks all day long hunched over a computer. In In keeping with the traditional New Year's resolution of living healthier, the library is offering several classes to help you out. During this Lunch and Learn, Holland Taylor with Nirvana Yoga Studio will show us some simple yoga tricks we can do at our desks and during a 15 minute break from work. As always, this class is FREE!

This club is geared towards children who are in second through sixth grade. Parents and older kids are welcome to join in as well. If you don't know how to knit, no problem! We'll teach you! In this class each new child will recieve a pair of knitting needles and a skein of yarn to start them off.

Author Tom Birdseye will be our featured guest on Tuesday, February 21st at 7 p.m. in the Round Room at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library. Birdseye's books include "Storm Mountain", "Look Out Jack! The Giant is Back", "Soap! Soap! Don't Forget the Soap" and "Waiting For Baby". The public is invited to attend this evening event.
