Welcome to Fall Storytime! Pre-K Storytime is for children who are 4 and 5-years-old. Kids get to hear a story and then do a craft at the end. Parents and caregivers are not required to stay, but are always welcome.

Our 2nd Annual Fall Concert Series continues with a blues performance from the Jess Hoggard Band on September 25th.  This is also the date of our "Concert for Hope".  The CCJPL is partnering with Hope Circle during Hope Week to support the fight against cancer.

The library is hosting a guest speaker on Tuesday, September 25th following the fall concert on the lawn.  The event will start at 7:15 p.m. in the Round Room.  Refreshments will be provided.  More information about this event will be released soon.

Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.

To help celebrate Hope Week, the library will offer a special knitting class in the Round Room on Thursday, September 27th at noon.  In addition to learning to knit with needles, folks will get the opportunity to learn how to knit on the loom.

This class is  open for experienced and beginning knitters and those who would like to crochet. This class meets in the library in the non-fiction section. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.
