This is a latin inspired dance exercise class. Instructor Brooke Poff leads the class in routines that are easy to learn. This class is free and is held in the library Round Room on Monday and Tuesday nights. This class is open to all skill levels.

This class starts at 6 p.m. every Monday and meets in the library in the non-fiction section. This is for experienced knitters and for beginners. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.

Join us on Tuesday, October 16th at 7:00 p.m. for a visit from our young adult author John Corey Whaley.  Whaley is the author of the book "Where Things Come Back", winner of the 2012 Printz Award.  Whaley will be signing copies of his book.

Our annual visit by a Young Adult author will be held on Tuesday, October 16th.  Author John Corey Whaley, whose book "Where Things Come Back" is the winner of the 2012 Printz Award.  The author will meet with high school students throughout the day at the library.  Join the library at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday night for a special guest author event open to the public.  Whaley will be signing copies of his book.

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will partner with the ASU Small Business and  Technology Development Center for a Lunch and Learn class on Wednesday, October 17th.  This class will focus on the popular pin-board style social media site Pinterest.  We will show you how to get a pinterest account, how to use the site, and how to make a craft found on the site.

It's craft time in the Children's Library! Kids can pick up a set of needles and a ball of yarn starting on September 5th and learn how to knit! Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.

Lapsit Storytime is for babies from newborn to 24-months-old and their parents or caregivers. This storytime focuses on fun with books, fingerplays, songs and action followed by free-play and networking.
