(kohn_memorial_event) 12/12: "Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive" The Kohn Memorial Public Library is hosting a peanut butter and jelly drive in November and December. All you have to do is bring in a jar of peanut butter or jelly and for each jar you bring your name is added to a drawing that will take place on December 12th. The winner of the drawing will win a $20 gift certificate to the Farmer's Market in Monette. The donated peanut butter and jelly will go to "BIBLE" the Buffalo Island Better Life Experience. (general_event) 11/15: "Internet Searching" Start: 11/15/2012 10:00 am Once you get the basics of the internet down, it's time to start searching! In this class you learn about different search browsers. We will also introduce you to different helpful websites. (children_event) 11/15: "Lapsit Storytime" Start: 11/15/2012 10:00 am Lapsit Storytime is for babies from newborn to 24-months-old and their parents or caregivers. This storytime focuses on fun with books, fingerplays, songs and action followed by free-play and networking. (general_event) 11/15: "Knitting and Crochet" Start: 11/15/2012 12:00 pm This class is open for experienced and beginning knitters and those who would like to crochet. This class meets in the library in the non-fiction section. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.
