The Kohn Memorial Public Library is hosting a peanut butter and jelly drive in November and December. All you have to do is bring in a jar of peanut butter or jelly and for each jar you bring your name is added to a drawing that will take place on December 12th. The winner of the drawing will win a $20 gift certificate to the Farmer's Market in Monette. The donated peanut butter and jelly will go to "BIBLE" the Buffalo Island Better Life Experience.
The annual Friends of the Library Holiday Open House will be held on Wednesday, December 12th. This event is held in the Round Room throughout the day. It's a great time to mee the friends, meet other library patrons, and enjoy holiday snacks.
Santa Claus is coming to town! Join the library staff on Wednesday, December 12th for Storytime with Santa at 10 a.m. in the Children's Library! Santa will be reading stories and taking pictures with the kiddos! Live music will be played throughout the day in the building. Refreshments will also be served in the Round Room.
The Poinsett County Library will have craft days every Wednesday in December. There is no specific time for this drop-in opportunity. The library is open every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
