This magic show is for children of all ages - but aimed primarily at elementary age children.  Tommy Terrific comes to the library every February for Black History Month and focuses his show on different African American's in history.  This year, the focus of the show will be on George Washington Carver.  The show starts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4th inside the library Round Room.

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host a night of mystery and mayem when they present "Murder at the Dunmore Lodge" two nights in February.  The show will take place inside the Round Room inside the CCJPL on Friday, February 15th and Saturday, February 16th.  Food will be served starting at 6:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Please RSVP here or by calling 870-935-5133.  The show will "star" library staff members.  This play involves audience participation to try to solve the crime. All ages are welcome.

The after hours movie night for teens will be held on Friday, February 22nd at 6:00 p.m.  This event will start right after the building closes for the night.  The movie that will be shown is a  based on a novel by Stephen Chbosky.  The film was released in 2012 and stars Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller.
