The library offers free Zumba Fitness Classes every Monday and Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Round Room. This hour long class is for adults only. Zumba is a latin inspired dance exercise class. Instructor Brooke Poff leads the class in routines that are easy to learn.

This class starts at 6 p.m. every Monday and meets in the library in the non-fiction section. This is for experienced knitters and for beginners. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn to get started with.

Family storytime will be held on Monday nights starting at 7 p.m. in the Children's Library. This storytime is for families with children of different ages and for working families.

This magic show is for children of all ages - but aimed primarily at elementary age children.  Tommy Terrific comes to the library every February for Black History Month and focuses his show on different African American's in history.  This year, the focus of the show will be on George Washington Carver.  The show starts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4th inside the library Round Room.

PeeWee Storytime is for 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. This storytime is held every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Children's Library.

This class is designed for those unfamiliar with using a computer.  This class helps teach you how to use a mouse and other basic functions of a computer.

This "Meet the Mouse" class will be held on Tuesday, February 5th at 10 a.m.

This storytime is for 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds. Parents are not required to stay, but are welcome to stay. This storytime is held every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:45 a.m.

Teens will get the opportunity to make a Valentine craft! We will make pin art you can keep for yourself or give away to someone else.  This event will take place in the Round Room at 4:00 p.m.

This latin inspired dance exercise class is offered every Tuesday free of charge at the Poinsett County Library from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.   The instructor is Nechia Whitingham.  The class is for people of all skill levels.

It's craft time in the Children's Library! Kids can pick up a set of needles and a ball of yarn starting on September 5th and learn how to knit! Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.
