The library offers free Zumba Fitness Classes every Monday and Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Round Room. This hour long class is for adults only. Zumba is a latin inspired dance exercise class. Instructor Brooke Poff leads the class in routines that are easy to learn.

The library Lunch and Learn program picks back up in April. On Wednesday, April 3rd Eric Grant from the Craighead County Extension Service will teach a class on container gardening. We will have a limited number of containers to give away. Those who sign up first will get to take one of the containers home! RSVP today!

Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.

The library will host a retirement celebration for our Director Phyllis Burkett on Sunday, April 7th from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the library round room. After 33 years leading the Crowley Ridge Regional Library and Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library Burkett will retire in June.

Every 2nd Monday of the month a book discussion group meets in the library Civic League Room at 6:30 p.m. to discuss graphic novels. On April 8th the group will be discussing "Skim" by Mariko Tomaki and Brian K. Vaughn. They'll also be handing out "Identity Crisis" by Brad Meltzer.

Master gardener Erlene Wise will lead our Lunch and Learn program on Wednesday, April 10th. She will teach a class on herb gardening. There are several herbs that can be planted in April and into May. You will learn about herbs and how to grow them. You will also be able to take some herb startings home with you.

Mary Gay Shipley who used to own "That Bookstore in Blytheville" will be at the library from 2-4 p.m. in t he round room. She will speak about what it's like to work with publishers and famous authors.
