The library CANNOT answer:
lengthy research or genealogical questions; complex questions; or questions requiring interpretation or analysis. Be specific when submitting requests and include sources that you have already checked.
Obituaries can be search for in the Jonesboro paper with the person's name and exact date of death. You can search the Jonesboro Sun Obituary Index for dates. For copies, users need to provide a mailing address on the form.
NOTE: We
will only accept five obituary requests per person per week.
Questions are usually answered within four business days. If additional time is needed users will be notified.
