Are you looking for a fun weekend activity for the entire family? The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host a arts and crafts fair on Saturday, April 23rd from 9:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the front lawn located at 315 West Oak Avenue. There will be 40 art and craft vendors at the Under the Sea Arts and Crafts Fair selling their handmade items. Items available include paintings, crochet hats and toys, jewelry, signs, resin domino sets, and more!

This is the first arts and crafts fair the library has hosted since 2019 and staff members are very excited to offer this event once again. “I am most excited about seeing the community's smiling faces again!,” said Amber Heard, CCJPL Adult Services Manager.  “We have some amazing vendors selling some really beautiful items. There is something for everyone!” Each vendor will have their own prices for the items that they bring and will have various methods of taking payment. Not all vendors accept debit or credit cards, so bringing cash along with you is always a good idea if you are interested in purchasing something from a vendor.

The library will have some activities at the event including:
10:00 a.m. - Mermaid Storytime with Ms. Jerica
10:30 a.m. - Photos with Under the Sea Characters
11:00 a.m. - Children’s Craft
11:30 a.m. - Treasure Trove - find a shell, find a prize

At 10:00 a.m. Ms. Jerica Tate, Youth Serivices Assistant manager, will host a mermaid storytime. Join the library staff at 10:30 a.m. for photos that will be printed on site. A children’s craft will be available from 11:00-11:30 a.m. and you can stop by the library tent and hunt for treasure from 11:30-noon!

The library is located at 315 West Oak Avenue in Jonesboro, AR.
