The library offers a series of computer classes each month to help people learn some basic tasks they can complete using a computer. These classes include everything from "Meet the Mouse" where you learn very basic skills to "Introduction to Word" where you can learn how to use the program Microsoft Word to type documents. The classes are held in the library Training Lab at 10 a.m.
Meet the Mouse will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd. In this class you will learn how to scroll with the mouse, how to right click, left click and double click. This class is perfect for those just getting started using a computer and those who are seeking a refresher course.
Introduction to Computers will be held on November 3rd.
Introduction to Apps will be held on November 9th. In this class you will learn about what apps are, what they do and how to get them for your tablet and smartphone.
Introduction to Word will be held on November 10th. In this class you will learn about the popular word processor Microsoft Word. You will learn how to type a document in word.
Introduction to Email will be held on Wednesday, November 16th. In this class, you will be set up with a free email account and be shown how to send, read and delete your emails.
