New Additions for Teens
Hi, my name is Ms. Michaela and I’m the new Teen Librarian at CCJPL! I wanted to use my first blog post here to introduce everyone to all of the cool new features coming to the TeenHub in months to follow! There is a makerspace-in-progress which will feature a 3-D printer and more, as well as a gaming area that is in the works. (Stay tuned!) While these features are still under construction, we have already installed lots of new teens-only seating and table-space to play games, study, read, or just hang out with friends. And as always, TeenHub’s shelves are home to an ever-expanding collection of fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, manga, e-media, and more!
While I know so many changes at once can be a bit disorienting, I hope that these fresh additions will be a wonderful way to welcome both familiar faces and newcomers alike to a space that can continue to grow to accommodate all teen users. And while serving as the Teen Librarian, I would like to express to you how excited I am to be a part of something this amazing!
