If you’re looking for a whimsical way to kick off your Summer, look no further! Sway and spin beneath the stars at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library’s 2025 Teen Dance – A Midsummer Night’s Dream. All teens ages 13 - 17 are invited to join us in the Round Room on Friday, June 6th, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm for an evening of mystical merriment, music, refreshments, a photo booth, and more!

Remember to wear your "fairy" best - whether you choose to go glam, dashing, elegant, or avant-garde, all we ask is that clothing choices be appropriate for the occasion – shoes are required (bring footwear comfortable to dance in if you need an extra pair), and no ripped garments, please. Light snacks and punch will be served, but attendees may still want to eat a meal beforehand if they plan to stay for the whole event. (Please let staff know if you have any food allergies.)

Attendees can also get signed up for our Teen Summer Reading Challenge and earn points towards an SRC completion prize by attending the Dance and other teen programs throughout June and July. Check out our digital calendar here for a sneak peek at what other fantastic fun this Summer holds!

The 2025 Teen Dance will take place in the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library’s Round Room on Friday, June 6th, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

All parents and guardians will need to drop off and pick up their teens at the Madison Street “After Hours” Round Room Entrance, as the main library will be closed during this time.
