An Author Visit with Raquel Vasquez Gilliland - October 2023
Join us at CCJPL for a visit from acclaimed poet and author, Raquel Vasquez Gilliland this October 12th, from 6:00 pm - 7:00pm. The event will be located in the “Round Room” of the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library. Raquel will be discussing her work, How Moon Fuentez Fell in Love with the Universe, winner of the Pura Belpré Young Adult Author Award. Her presentation will be followed by a community Q&A session and an opportunity for book signings.
Don't own a copy of Raquel's work? No worries, copies of How Moon Fuentez Fell in Love with the Universe will be available for sale before and after the event. This author visit is open to the public, recommended for both teens and adults. I hope to see you all there!
