Summer break is almost here, and the CCJPL team is gearing up for another summer filled with fun programs and events! Teens, if you have to babysit this summer, the library is the place to go. You can bring the little ones to enjoy crafting or storytimes, and you can attend programs like tie dying or learning how to draw manga characters. And the best part…everything is free!

Our Summer Kickoff Party will be held this year on Saturday, June 2. There will be snacks, crafts, and you’ll get a registration prize for signing up for our Summer Reading Club on the Beanstack app! Don’t worry though, this isn’t like a homework assignment (I promise). You just log the books you read, and that’s it. There will be challenges set up in the app, but they are simple. For example, write a five sentence book review; pick up litter in your neighborhood; attend a library program. See? Super easy. Once you start logging in the Beanstack app, you can start winning prizes. Yup, you read that right. Prizes!

I am especially excited this summer, because summer lock in is back! The top 20 teens who attend the most programs will be invited to this special event where we will watch movies, play games, and eat pizza and snacks.

Hope to see you all this summer!
