Summer is always a bustling and significant period at the library. Let us now provide a comprehensive recap of our accomplishments thus far. We commenced the summer season with a grand Summer Kickoff Party, followed by a series of nine engaging Family Storytimes, six delightful Tiny Tales sessions, six enlightening Better Together gatherings, and four captivating Monday Matinees. Notable performances included Magic Mr. Nick and the Dinosaur Crew.

Within our Tween Department, we organized an entertaining Foam Party, a creative cookie decorating contest, and an introductory Dungeons and Dragons course for beginners. The Teen Department curated a variety of engaging activities, including a masquerade mask class and an elegant masquerade ball, a captivating Random Fandom Friday, an inspiring manifestation jar craft, and an enjoyable tie-dye drop-in session.

The adults, too, have been actively participating in our events. They relished a tabletop game day in collaboration with the NEA Gamers Guild, initiated a Retro Game Club that met weekly during June, and engaged in a serene Sound Bath Meditation. Moreover, they gained insights into passalong plants through an enlightening session with the esteemed Master Gardeners and explored the fascinating realm of genealogy with Nancy Mathews. Additionally, they joined in the vibrant tie-dye drop-in session.

As we move forward into the month of July, we have an exciting array of activities in store. Stay updated with our upcoming events by referring to our event calendar or visiting our Facebook page.
