Make a Short! ---- A WOO Films Workshop Series
Teens are invited to explore the field of Film-Making in this Summer Workshop Series with special guest Brian Ackley, courtesy of WOO Films and Porchlight Film Fest! Shoot a short film at the library, refine it through post-production and screen your final project for friends and family with us this Summer!

America 250 - Teen Trivia Tournament
The U.S.A. is 250 years old! It’s the perfect time to learn the funniest, freakiest, far-out facts about all fifty states as you face off in a trivia showdown and enjoy some festive treats!

Maker Meet-Up: DIY Mosaic Coasters
Inspired by tiled murals of ages past, teens are invited to craft their very own mini mosaic masterpieces. Join us to make DIY mosaic tile coasters!

Excavating History: An Archaeology Escape Room
Calling all teen treasure hunters! An abandoned archaeological dig, a mysterious lost artifact, and a trail of clues to find the truth…are YOU up to the challenge?

Friday Night Magic
Teens are invited to an afternoon of trading card gaming – it’s Friday Night Magic!

Strata Sand Art Jars
The Grand Canyon has over 100 beautiful “strata” stripes that show off layers of sediment in the Geologic Column. Teens are invited to craft their own mini strata in a jar with layers of colorful sand and rocks!

…And remember that teens signed up for our Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) can get points for each Teen Program they attend! Teens must report their SRC points to the Teen or Youth Services Desk at CCJPL by July 22nd, 2026 or earlier – so there’s still time to climb the leaderboard and win some prizes along the way!
