Teen Summer Programs: An Updated List
Due to ongoing HVAC issues, the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library (CCJPL) is currently undergoing a temporary shift in its hours: CCJPL will be open 8:30 am - 1:00 pm weekdays & closed weekends until further notice, while the air conditioning is repaired. You can stay informed with the latest library news and updates via the CCJPL Facebook page.
This change in operating hours has shifted some of our pre-scheduled programming, but never fear - there’s still so much to do and create at your Library this Summer!
Here’s a list of Updated July Programs for Teens:
- Spa Science - DIY Bath Fizz and Sugar Scrub, Wed. July 9th @ 11am - 12 pm
- Creating the Product: An Entrepreneurship Workshop, Mon. July 14th 1 pm - 2 pm (will run after hours in Round Room)
- Teen ArtJam: Trust the Process, Wed. July 16th @ 11am - 12 pm
- Friday Night Magic, Fri. July 18th - CANCELED
- Build on a Budget: An Entrepreneurship Workshop, Mon. July 21st 1 pm - 2 pm (will run after hours in Round Room)
- Intro to Costume Design: A Stagecraft Workshop, Wed. July 23rd – TBD - Stay Tuned on Social Media for an update!
- Teen Tabletop Club, Sat. July 26th - CANCELED

…And remember that teens signed up for our Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) can get points for each Teen Program they attend! Teens must report their SRC points to the Teen or Youth Services Desk at CCJPL by July 23, 2025 or earlier – so there’s still time to climb the leaderboard and win some prizes along the way!
